The Knockout Game & Race Merchants
At times it is
just plain obvious who it is that is racist although some will offer lies as a
cover for unrighteousness. Here is an article that we ran in our local
newspaper during the month of December, 2013.
Surely not Racism – the Knockout Game!
Spiritually dull (stupid) people see this game
but do not accurately describe it. Being evil they praise the wicked to protect
their own place and bias (cf. Pr. 28:4). Here’s Proverbs’ knockout punch:
1. “They’re poor and never had
a chance.” Being poor is no excuse for wicked conduct:
“Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity,
than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool” (Pr. 19:1).
2. “After all some are just kids of 14 years or so.”
“Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be
pure, and whether it be right” (Pr. 20:11).
3. “Well, I don’t know if I’d describe it fully as a
game.” Pr. 10: 23 “It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of
understanding hath wisdom.” Yes, “sport” as in “Let’s play the knockout
game!”
4. Peer pressure is never built around racism is it? Yes,
we do know rightly that “polar bear hunting” equals black racists hunting white
people!
5. This is planned! Pro 24:8 “He that deviseth
to do evil shall be called a mischievous person.”
6. Wicked hearts devise it and their lips talk trouble. Pro 24:2 “For their heart studieth
destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.” Their heart is one of the
things God hates: God hates “An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running
to mischief,” (Pr. 6:18).
7. Evil men do not understand God’s judgment. Pro 28:5 “Evil men understand
not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.”
The just given description of the racism
connected with the knockout game flies in the face of the leaders and phony
reverends (so called) who said it was otherwise. And it should for such
nonsense is to be opposed and countered with the truth of God’s Word. God’s Word
exposes all things (cf. Heb. 4:12). There has been for
many years those who are now being labeled correctly as “race merchants” —
depicting their unsightly and covetous practice of playing the race card as
they build their portfolios.
The Unity of Mankind
& the Gospel
The unity of mankind is clearly
taught in the Bible (cf. Acts 17:26). The human race began with Adam and Eve
(Gen. 1-5). All today are descendants of Noah’s family (Gen. 8-9). There are
various races but only one “mankind.” Mixed marriages are clearly evident and
acceptable in the Bible, thus mixed dating is no sin (Study Moses’ life or Boaz
and Ruth). The World Population Clock “races” on — now an estimated 7+ Billion — “you” are
not the only person on earth! God is no respecter of persons and judges each
impartially (Cf. Acts 10:34; I Pet. 1:17).
Paul an apostle (all of the
apostles Christ chose were Jews) said, “For
I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to
the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Rom. 1:16). One’s race is not a factor
as to who the Gospel is to be preached to or concerning its reception and
blessing of salvation (cf. Mk. 16:15-16 “to every creature”; Gal. 3:26-29). It
is for all mankind without exception. Moreover all of mankind today is
accountable to Christ’s law the New Testament (cf. Jo. 14:6; Jo. 8:24).
Now
— take these cheesy, pompous, yet idolized TV evangelists who when asked if the
Jews are saved outside of obedience to the Gospel — ignore plain passages such
as the above — make their own exception
for the Jews being accountable to the New Testament — and are compensated well
for doing such (cf. 2 Cor. 2:17; Gal. 6:12). Indeed what liars they are! (cf.
Prov. 30:6).
The Works of the
Flesh
I’ve highlighted a few of the
works of the flesh easily identified in racism to quickly show that it is sin: Gal 5:19
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery,
fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred,
variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of
the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the
kingdom of God.
We live in a nation that is full of anger
and hate. The solution is certainly not to ignore it, call it what it is not,
or blame someone else for your own or another’s sinful anger.
When others like Timothy McVeigh,
who bombed the Federal building in Oklahoma city in
1995, commit acts of terror they are not “good guys” for being anti-government!
They are full of anger and hate and ill will that issues in the worst kind of
tragedies.
No right
thinking person appreciated the hem hawing around the hatred that filled the
Islamic extremist who murdered 13 innocent people — soldiers and civilians— at
Ft. Hood in 2009. His “religion” was one full of hate. It takes nothing away to
refer to it as his “ideology.”
When you see a prominent Pro
athlete arrested for hardcore “thugery” do you think
it came from nowhere! When Pros are hot news for being drugged, fighting,
bullying, beating others, shooting others and even murdering — they are guilty
before God and love sin and strife:
a. Pro 17:19 He loveth
transgression that loveth strife: and he that exalteth his gate seeketh
destruction.
b. Pro 15:18 A wrathful man stirreth
up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth
strife.
c. Pro 3:30 Strive not with a man without cause, if
he have done thee no harm.
Characteristics of
Race Merchants
Get rich keeping
racism “stirred” while often being angry, hateful racists themselves.
Stir up anger.
Pro 15:1 A
soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words
stir up anger.
They are aware of
their ability to produce more strife.
Pro 29:22 An
angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.
Note: The word “angry” here actually references the face and gestures —
what that person can produce in a crowd.
Bring a city into a snare.
Pro 29:8 Scornful
men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath.
Note: Such men can come into a city and set it on fire, and then leave as
if they are pure and free of the brutality that ensued.
Spew their curses
recklessly and without cause.
Pro 26:2 As the bird by wandering, as
the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.
Note: The NAS says “...so a
curse without cause does not alight.” When told you are responsible for the
“racism” of the past in the history of our country you may rightly say, “Don’t
lay your worthless curse on my head! I had nothing to do with it!” One is not a
racist simply because they are not the skin color of some other race.
Often remain silent
when presented with real solutions.
Note: To expose the failures in one’s own race of premarital sex, women
with multiple children but no husband, children with no fathers, multiple shack
ups, adulteries, etc. is to expose to their own lifestyles. Thus
the reason for their silence.
Pressure brought by
them on what is truthful and right produces opposition.
Pro 30:33 Surely
the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the
wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the
forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.
This should be exposed as often as it appears. It
accomplishes absolutely nothing to let someone mouth that blatant racism and hatred
is nothing more than an urban legend and get by with it!
