The
W list: to help with finding a topic look at the words in BOLD print.
Do Not
Let Your Heart Envy Sinners The purpose of this
article is to emphasize the importance of enabling others to develop speech
that correctly describes the sinner ---- and especially our children. Emphasis
is given to what envy says about the heart. Applications are made for this important
question: If you can’t say the wicked are so what are some likely problem you will have? For one, envy and fretting
take away the fear of God (Pr. 8:13). “Wisdom” can say evil is hated (Rom.
12:9). Ps. 73 discussed here is about one who lost the pure heart he praised
and was envious of the “boasters” who depicted physical health and material
prosperity that most did not have. The appropriate conclusion is: Ps. 37:7-9 “7 Rest in
the Lord, and WAIT PATIENTLY for him: fret
not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. 8 Cease
from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any
wise to do evil. 9” Don’t
fret as it only leads to doing more evil!
Things in
Christ not found in Islam One simple but effective way of explaining the
difference between a major “world” religion and the gospel of Christ (the New
Testament, Matt. 26:28) is to show the things found “in Christ” that are not
found elsewhere. As long as
Christians continue to WALK in the
light of Christ's word His blood cleanses us from all sin (I John
1:7-9).
What You
Can And Will Do In Christ This brief study should offer assurance to
Christians that their efforts to serve God faithfully are attainable, as well
as being greatly aided by others' prayers on their behalf. What one can and
will do by remaining faithful in Christ is declared through the words of Paul's
prayer for the church at Colossae in Col. 1:9-12. Here are the key thoughts: A.
Be filled with knowledge, all wisdom and spiritual understanding. B. WALK
WORHTY, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and
increasing in the knowledge of God. C. Strengthened for attaining all
steadfastness and patience, with Joy. D. Joyously giving thanks to the Father. Following is a "Check Your Spiritual Growth With Self-Test Questions" giving further emphasis to
our growth and development into mature children of God. The stated
"goal" of our efforts is seen in
Philippians 1:10-11.
So Somebody Told You a Christian Cannot Sin This larger article begins with two brief
newspaper articles that illustrates the habit some develop of picking a
favorite verse, or verses, without considering “all” that the New Testament
teaches on a particular topic. Thus we have an example
of “the favorite verses syndrome.” This happens to concern the matter of
Christians and when they do sin. It includes important points and topics
such as “God Knows,” “Why Confess?,” “Our Advocate is
Jesus Christ,” “The Wholeness of the Doctrine of Christ,” “God Gave Us His Word
so We Can Practice Righteousness” and “When Considering the Devil and
Christians.” Understand that John is emphasizing
our “practicing righteousness” as our “WALK” or manner of life (I Jo. 1:6, I Jo. 3:7). We are to WALK in the light and not in
darkness.
What are the Works
of the Flesh? The WORKS
OF THE FLESH in the New Testament scriptures are part of God’s moral
analysis to be taught and applied. The Vatican recently issued a new
document stating when people ask their priests for a blessing “an exhaustive
moral analysis should not be placed as a precondition for conferring it” – this
is mentioned later with comments in this article. The works of the flesh are
sin (I Jo 3:4). We’re told they are what keeps one from Heaven,
and sends one to Hell – thus, the truth about them must not be rejected. The
works of the flesh can be divisive being sound doctrine (I Cor 11:19).
God’s word applied correctly will divide the faithful from the unfaithful. False
churches push Woke philosophies and LGBT+ based on out right acceptance
(!!) of the works of the flesh.
You can compare what the Vatican says with important points
like these:
…
10. Practicing the works of the flesh destroys or does not
allow fellowship with god – ONE MUST
WALK IN THE LIGHT (I Jo 1:6-7).
…
12. The works of the flesh when practiced DO NOT GO,
AND CANNOT GO with commitment to Christ!
A
Review of “Questions of Women’s roles…requires grace, humility” by Cana Moore
(Part One) Part One: Here is an article concerning WOMEN’S ROLES in the
church. It especially centers on the woman is not to USURP AUTHORITY over a man in I Tim. 2:12. Paul
said: 1Ti. 2:11 “Let
the woman learn in silence with all subjection.” 1Ti. 2:12 “But
I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.” I’ve got some things I want to say that I
believe apply to some of the contexts in the article; the article should elicit
thoughts of your own as well.
You will find key points made concerning the
necessity of our keeping Christ’s commandments, and abiding in His love by WALKING
according the works He prepared for us from
eternity before the world began.

The
Transgender Attack This
contains two newspaper articles: 1. Surely Not Shameless ~ The Transgender
Directive; 2. Surely Not Living a Lie ~ The Transgender Directive.
These present both the spiritual and physical dangers tied to the recent “I
think I identify with transgender” decree from President Obama. This is moving
quickly in our society and especially so when the media’s bias is presenting
the kind of things that promote LGBT (Lesbian, Gay *Homosexual, Bi-sexual, Trans-sexual).
Key points include scriptures on: evil thoughts, evil desire, lewdness, shameless
behavior, uncleanness, motives, the mind, depraved passions, wrath of
God upon the children of disobedience, WALKED
in immoralities, LIVED in
immoralities, despise
wickedness and immorality.
Withdrawal:
Family Reunions, Vacations, Special Days etc. This article presents the local church’s collective
responsibility to withdraw from a member who WALKS DISORDERLY, as well as each individual Christian’s duty to not
associate with any brother who leads an unruly life not according to the instruction
revealed in the New Testament scriptures. It includes such verses as Matt.
18:15-17; I Cor. 5:11; 2 Th. 3:6, 14, 15; 2 Cor. 2:6-8 as well as information
on invites and feasts found in the New Testament.
A Case Of Compromise The primary part of this study concerns
Jehoshaphat (the king of Judah) and his compromise with wicked Ahab the king of
Israel (the northern kingdom). It compares Ahab's religion with the description
of Jehoshaphat who did not let the Levitical service and the Temple deteriorate, but was diligent in having the law of God
taught in Judah (2 Ch. 17:6-9). Lot's
choice to stay in wicked Sodom is a secondary point used to show how compromising destroys our WARNINGS OFFERED TO
OTHERS for they see our inconsistencies. This simple lesson shows
why people compromise the Truth along with the attendant consequences for doing
such.
Telling Members They Are Sinning In Deliberately Missing Church
This article is one of the most needed and necessary lessons of our day.
Beginning with a list of well known excuses offered by
brethren from all over, the blame is placed where it should be and this is with
the unfaithfulness of the church as a “whole.” Local churches are failing miserably in making
certain of any particular member’s faithfulness, and
thus not to be guilty of allowing unfaithfulness. Those in
error are to be WARNED and exposed or convicted of their sin (I Th. 5:14; Heb.
10:25-27). That
“fear” is the main reason there is an obvious (manifest) attendance problem in
so many churches is plainly stated. Members themselves are afraid of
disciplining for fear of losing numbers, finances, status, etc. God’s people
should be told their sins! Are you afraid to do that?
What To Tell Your
Mate When They Are Guilty of Wrath
Christians need to study and then be honest and make the right
applications to one another, all family members, and especially with their own
mates (Cf. I Th. 5:14). Read this article to better understand the WARNINGS that sinners obstinately refuse to believe!
Let
Us Get You A New Kind Of Preacher! Those full of carnality (works of the flesh)
accuse the faithful unjustly with wicked intent, spread strife with their
mouths, and set an example of evil for others to imitate (cf. 3 John 10-11).
They have a goal, an objective, and will sacrifice the truth and brethren to achieve it! These are looking forward to and
working towards division in order that they might have their own way, and that
with the “kind of preaching” that lacks application and pleases the ungodly
(cf. 2 Tim. 4:1-5). Understand that the longer the church postpones dealing
with them scripturally the closer they get to their unscriptural goals (cf.
Rev. 2:20). There is nothing more carnal, and full of the works of the flesh,
that I can think of at this age in my life than brethren who work to stop
applicable preaching and teaching. They will stop at nothing to get the “new
kind” of preacher. Old WARNINGS need to be issued! As in the past there will
always be bigger churches somewhere ready to aid the pattern of apostasy and
provide the “new kind” of teachers and preachers. That is how apostasy is able to continue. Brethren beware! It is quite possible
that you know of such things happening among us.
Casting Down
Eloquence & Sophistry Series (2 Cor. 10:4-5) Modern teachers, atheists, and
mockers often portray God in the Old Testament as being ruthless and unloving. A common tactic is to present the idea
that God in the Old is different from God in the New Testament. Such seek to bypass the fact that the
judgments of God brought upon the world, as recorded in the Old Testament, were
indeed left as WARNINGS FOR US TODAY. People love the deception in being told
that God today just isn’t like that (cf. Rom.16:17). But
God will punish the wicked in hades and eternally
in hell (cf. Lk.16:22-26; Matt. 10:28). Sodom’s filthy conduct in the
Old (Gen.19) stands as an example of the punishment of such for those who live
afterwards in the New Testament period (2 Pet. 2:6-9; Jude 7). Jesus, Himself God,
referred to this judgment where the Lord rained fire and brimstone on Sodom and
Gomorrah. He said it will be just the same way the day the Son of Man is
revealed! (Lk. 17: 27-30). Jesus also referred to the destruction of the
ungodly in the world by the Flood (Lk. 17:26-27). Another thing is the Rock who
led Israel in the wilderness was Christ (Ex. 13:21; I Cor. 10:4). Moreover, Paul taught the judgments
brought upon Israel by God in the wilderness stand as EXAMPLES; they were written for our WARNING so that we would not desire to do the evil things they did
and likewise be punished by God (I Cor. 10:5-12).
You can compare what the Vatican says with important points
like these:
…
2. The WARNING IS DO NOT BE DECEIVED, for
those practicing the works of the flesh will not inherit the kingdom of God (Gal
5:19-21; I Cor 5:9-13; I Cor 6:9-11; Ja 1:13-16).
Shame
Has Its Place A Study of Shame. When lives
spiritually are at stake to save them shame matters (!!) and has a place. Shame is a consequence of sin that is a violation of God’s law; with sin there
is sting of conscience (that’s shame). Peter’s shame (Mat 26:69-75) > “wept bitterly”
(MAT 26:75). WHEN YOU CALL
TO MIND A WARNING, and you’ve just done exactly what you were warned you
feel shame. Someone cared to warn
you. This weeping was not like Saul’s false tears when David cut off a corner
of his robe while he slept in the cave (2 Sam 24:16); and not like Saul’s false
confession when David took his spear and jug of water, and he says he’s a fool
(2 Sam 26:21).
Unwise
Unsuspiciousness (Jer. 40:14) This is based upon Gedaliah’s mistake as
recorded by Jeremiah. We see stupidity in the pattern presented by refusing to
credit information given by “all”; being indignant towards the informant and
accusing him of lying (Lies). “You liar!” You will often hear that when the
evidence points to something one doesn’t want to believe. He should have
listened. One point developed is feeling guilt
for not giving the WARNINGS.
Selected
Newspaper Articles These are selected articles that appeared in
our local newspaper, The Sun. The intent of these articles is that each shows a
love for and desire to present the Truth without incorporating the emotional
flavor so popular with other religious bodies today. Included in these short articles is “WAR
Protesters.” This article is about the great spiritual WARFARE that is being waged against Satan today. It depicts the
protesters who water down the truth and speak against the truth’s messengers
because they know the truth condemns them.
God
Turns The Way Of The Wicked Upside Down This lesson considers the path of the wicked
that is a familiar topic throughout the Psalms. You will learn about the wicked
by the following: (1) God thwarts the way of the wicked (Ps. 146:9); (2) God
puts the wicked in great fear because He despises them! (Ps. 53; Lev.
26:14-33); (3) Accusers are filled with their own ways (Ps. 109). This section
tells you exactly what will happen to the wicked; (4) You will learn about the purpose of their traps they set for the
righteous. These are those who continually stir up WARS, strifes; (5) God overthrows the best of secret counsel (Ps. 64).
When “Mr.
Make a Show” Visits There
are all KINDS OF VISITORS – some are beneficial, some are
benefitted by edification and instruction and humble themselves (Cf. I Cor.
14:25), and some are to be WATCHED carefully (Cf. Acts 20:28-29).
Baptism
As Taught From The Bible In this
article an example of baptism in the first century is set in contrast with
teaching from the Catholic Encylopedia,
"Baptism, Sacrament of." The explanation that the Catholic
Encyclopedia gives simply does not equate with what the New Testament teaches
about baptism being an immersion. The mode of baptism taught in the New
Testament is immersion and not "pouring." Concerning John's baptism
which preceded the baptism "into Christ" the Bible says, "And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much WATER there: and they came, and were baptized"
(John 3:23). Thus with the
mention of "MUCH WATER"
one sees the clear idea of the physical act of immersion
(being overwhelmed or completely covered). Neither
does the New Testament teach a
blessing of the water before baptism! Above all the New Testament does not teach infant baptism.
Should
“Grass Roots” Pol. Movements Address Local Churches of Christ This is election year and
I’m hearing that a pastor (denominational usage) is afraid if he doesn’t allow
his church to have a requested political presentation from our grass root
political movement.
It never dawned on such that a church of Christ would be in scriptural
agreement that such is not authorized as part of an assembly of the church.
Where did personal conscience suddenly go? What happened to religious liberty?
Read this study to understand why all the members of the local church are in agreement, and make no apologies for respecting the
authorized work of the assemblies of the church.
INCLUDED:
1. Christ’s Kingdom is a Spiritual Kingdom,
Col. 1:13.
2. The Local Church With
It’s Own Oversight & Collective Work.
3.
Assemblies are the Collective Function of the particular Local “Body” as an Organization.
4. Some Scripturally Authorized Purposes for
the Assemblies of the Local Church.
5. Christians as Individuals Participated in
Government.
6. God did not Give the Gospel to Civil
Government.
7. A Civil or State Religion.
8. Concerning Political Movements &
Organizations.
9. Man’s WAYS are not God’s WAYS (Isa. 55:8-9).
10. It is Not a Matter of Just Losing One’s Tax Exempt Status.
Selected
Newspaper Articles Dear reader the following
titles are selected newspaper articles that appeared in our local newspaper the
Yuma Sun. The first is titled “That’s Not My Jesus!” Some are quick to
respond to Jesus’ condemnation of homosexuality with, “That’s not my God!” Such
do not present the real Jesus. You will notice should you read each of the
three brief articles that there are two kinds of “fools” mentioned therein.
There are “fools” who truly despise God’s wisdom and instruction given by Him
in His Word (Prov. 1:29). Such fools as these do not listen to what God says.
The article titled “Fools Leave God out of Marriage” presents this kind of
fool. Again,
and by contrast there those who do listen and obey God’s Word who are viewed as
being “fools” for so doing. Such “fools” are considered to be
“WEAK” – not strong physically or great according to the world’s standards of
strength and success but weak and despised. They are “despised” as being
without the honor, display and reputation that is so admired and cherished by
the successful in the world. These
“fools” are presented in the article titled “The Credentials of a Fool.” Which kind of “fool”
are you?
Do Not Let
Your Heart Envy Sinners The
purpose of this article is to emphasize the importance of enabling others to
develop speech that correctly describes the sinner ---- and especially our
children. Applications are made for this important question: If you can’t say
the wicked are so what are some likely problems you will have? Young
adults and older see worldly “success” through eyes that desire: (a)
recognition of being in company with someone considered important in various
ways. It is easy to justify the wicked if I desire what they have —
“He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are
abomination to the LORD” (Pr. 17:15); (b) DESIRE WEALTH — this
is the temptation of Prov. 1:13;
(c) desire opportunities to meet the opposite sex, to be around money, cars, recreational
vehicles etc.; (d) desire a fun time — time not viewed by sinners as something
that must have as a primary allotment serving God and worshipping collectively
with a local church.
Selected
Newspaper Articles for 2013 These newspaper articles from 2013 include: (1)
“Using ‘Christendom’ to Cover Religious Error”; (2) “The Ways of the Street
Mugger”; (3) “Murders, Murderers, Victims”; (4) “Surely not a Hot Head” and (5) “Surely not a Greedy Person” – Greedy preachers and teachers love power, position and WEALTH
thus denying their duty to reprove and rebuke while presenting the Word.
Why
Churches Fear Applying “Scriptural Authority” ~ Selected Newspaper Articles Concerning “Scriptural Authority.” Local churches of Christ must continue to be the pillar and
support of the truth. These
three articles relate to the fear manifested by church leaders who use human
wisdom, emotions and lies; whose goals are power, prestige, pleasing self and
material gain (WEALTH). Members themselves love
their false position that allows them to fulfill their own lusts. These show how secular
institutions influenced by Political Correctness have become protectors and
enforcers for those who despise God’s Word, thus displaying a lack of respect
for “religious” freedom of speech!
Selected Newspaper
Articles from 2016 These four newspaper articles
include: (1) Surely Such Beautiful People (In this article “Beautiful people are just
everywhere here!” People, and especially our youth, do not understand the
vanity that is evil and destructive; they see benefits in POPULARITY, WEALTH,
and BEAUTY – the words of flattery that come from arrogant worldly minds seem
to them to be sincerity). (2)
Surely Correct Thinking ~ Although It Does Not Begin With
the Fear of the Lord (In this article “The fear of the Lord is the
beginning of knowledge” (Pr. 1:9) – “beginning” meaning the first step in
acquiring and then applying God’s revealed word. This is not your own “I think”
or “I believe.” Four important applications display what men are willing to do
when they lack the fear of the Lord. (3) Surely Not Their Kind of Preacher ~
Hired to Protect the Ungodly (Based upon I Tim. 3:16-17 it is the members
themselves who are responsible for maintaining such preachers; these men
pleasers are standing in line to take the place of those who preach the truth
and are dismissed or cast out for doing so. (4) Surely Displays Great Love for
Jesus ~ Cancelling Church for Sunday Dec. 25 (Lk. 2:11 says “For you is
born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.” That’s
right, all we have is “this day” --- thus the obvious flaw in saying that
anyone today knows the exact day Jesus was born. Since no one knows then how
can “cancelling” church figure in at all? Put this with the command not to
forsake assembling and you see that love of the Traditions of men, not God’s
Word, is all important and mighty self-serving.
Selected
Newspaper Articles These are selected articles that appeared in
our local newspaper, The Sun. The intent of these articles is that each shows a
love for and desire to present the Truth without incorporating the emotional
flavor so popular with other religious bodies today. Included in these short
articles is “War Protesters.” This
article is about the great spiritual warfare that is being waged against Satan
today. Our WEAPONS are not carnal, i.e. they are
not the fleshly wisdom that seeks worldly interests and secular advantage (Cf. Eph. 6:11-13).
Why
We Rejoice With One Another God delights over His people to do them
good (De. 28:63). The Psalmist said, “Light is sown for the righteous, and
gladness for the upright in heart” (Ps. 97:11). We are commanded to rejoice with those who rejoice, and to WEEP with those who WEEP,
being of the same mind one toward another (Rom. 12:15-16). Our being sorrowful when one is arrogant
and suffers is different from sharing joy and sorrow as Paul spoke of. If one
of us suffers because we remain arrogant and obstinate then our tears and
weeping will be the tears of Jeremiah if we love them: “But if ye will not hear
it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep
sore, and run down with tears, because the Lord's flock is carried away
captive” (Jer. 13:17). We know that arrogance and pride God will destroy! The
righteous will weep because of this for the reasons Jeremiah did in
Lamentations— they were given many opportunities to repent and give glory to
God, but that takes fear and trembling, and they refused every time the offer
was given and would not (cf. Jer. 13:15-19, 15:7, 5:3). This is the bitter
sorrow that realizes God can make enemies rejoice over His own when He casts
them off (Ps. 89:42).
Shame
Has Its Place A Study of Shame. When lives
spiritually are at stake to save them shame matters (!!) and has a place. Shame is a consequence of sin that is a violation of God’s law; with sin there
is sting of conscience (that’s shame). PETER’S SHAME (Mat 26:69-75) > “WEPT
BITTERLY” (MAT 26:75). When
you call to mind a warning, and you’ve just done exactly what you were warned
you feel shame. Someone cared to warn you. This weeping was not like Saul’s
false tears when David cut off a corner of his robe while he slept in the cave
(2 Sam 24:16); and not like Saul’s false confession when David took his spear
and jug of water, and he says he’s a fool (2 Sam 26:21).
9-11-2001
~ Things I Can Count On Today (America was attacked by terrorists on this date. This is a “time” when
people thrive upon inappropriate statements, and misleading applications of
God’s Word. Many love to “go with the flow,” and jump on the bandwagon!
Illustrations of such would be “Nostradamas said…,”
“Armageddon has come,” “the Mark of the Beast.” In contrast to asking WHY things happen as
they do, and WHAT is the future -- Christians have a limited number of precious
things that they can depend upon. These few but precious
things are where a Christian's life really is anywhere and any place that they
might be.
How
a Lesson on Humility Became a “Church Ordinance” Jesus did wash His disciples’ feet
and the lesson explained in that context is that they must serve one another. However Ellen
G. WHITE, a supposed prophetess of the Seventh-day Adventist church, takes it upon herself to teach that the
Lord’s Supper is to be preceded by a “foot washing” as a church ordinance.
This lesson should help one to understand the difference between individual
obligations and the “collective” works God gave for the local church as a
functioning body or organization.
Casting Down
Eloquence & Sophistry Series (2 Cor. 10:4-5) This series title is
aimed at the eloquence and sophistry of false teachers. Modern
teachers love to emphasize some of the teaching of Jesus while discounting the
teaching of His apostles. This “discount” includes all prophets who wrote the
New Testament.
Their prejudice against the
WHOLE of the New Testament scriptures makes it easy to identify them. It is the Scriptures themselves that
expose their unwillingness to accept the WHOLE of the New Testament teaching
as the revealed will of Christ. Why not take time to read the exposure of such
false teachers in these newspaper articles.
How
to Deal With Issues While Loving and Following Jesus Those who deal with issues that come up
concerning sound doctrine are often called arrogant for doing so. But think of
the arrogance that exempts from the task. Brethren (including all members) don’t get to
decide “which issues” they’ll deal with for the “issue” comes to you and your
church by evil men entering in among you, and from within i.e. from among
yourselves men arise speaking perverse things. It is sheer arrogance for one to
think they are so important that they do not have to deal with any issue that
involves sound doctrine. Consider
Paul’s statement to the elders of the church at Ephesus that he had not shunned
to declare to them the WHOLE counsel of God (Acts 20:20, 26-27).
Rule of
Law Points From the authority implied in the “name” of Jesus Christ, who
has all authority, several points are made concerning the Gospel as the power
of God unto salvation for all men, Jesus’ authority to judge by His law, Sin as
a violation of Christ’s law and how His law convicts of sin. Major emphasis is also given to the RULE OF LAW of
law being attacked by
ignorance, wrongful intent, good intentions, sincerity, carelessness, ignoring,
impulse and inconsistency, showing partiality, outright defiance, distortion of
one’s words, and partial narratives of the Word (TO NEGLECT TO TEACH THE WHOLE COUNSEL OF GOD,
Acts 20:27, 32.). Applications
include God is no respecter of
persons, to show respect of persons is sin, the kind of judgment that condemns
oneself, and the one who boasts in God’s law but dishonors God through breaking
the law.
So Somebody Told You a Christian Cannot Sin This larger article begins with two brief newspaper articles that
illustrates the habit some develop of picking a favorite verse, or verses,
without considering “all” that the New Testament teaches on a particular topic.
Thus we have an example of “the favorite verses
syndrome.” This happens to concern the matter of Christians and when they do
sin. It includes important points and topics such as “God Knows,” “Why Confess?,” “Our Advocate is Jesus Christ,” “The WHOLENESS of
the Doctrine of Christ,” “God
Gave Us His Word so We Can Practice Righteousness” and “When Considering the
Devil and Christians.” Understand
that John is emphasizing our “practicing righteousness” as our “walk” or manner
of life (I Jo. 1:6, I Jo. 3:7). We are to walk in the
light and not in darkness.
Stand
Strong Spiritually Against Those Who Frame Wickedness by Law Don’t
buy in with the sinful Go-Along Get-Along Gang. Just keep on exposing and
reproving what is sinful. The New Testament, the will of Christ, will do that
right well. Christians don’t endorse man’s “legislations” – Ps 94:20 Can
a throne of destruction be allied with You, one who devises mischief by decree?
> “DECREE” H2706 a STATUTE, LAW -- just because a particular political
party might be pushing them. See the point on Republicans and the 15 WEEK
abortion ban. See the point on calling fornication, fornicators, WHORES,
WHOREMONGERS, ADULTERY
and ADULTERERS what they are in Red Light Districts and on the streets of our
cities!
A
Simple Biblical Pattern For Explaining “Why?” A
respondent who questioned the matter of judging those who live together without
marriage stated, “I think these days it can be a good thing to live together
before getting married.... This obviously goes against your feelings, but
they're just your feelings, not everyone's." Last of all she stated,
"As far as your last sentence, it's not an idea that it's acceptable and
normal, these days, IT IS acceptable and normal.... If you don't like it, then
don't do it.... I wouldn't criticize you...WHY do you judge about people who choose to live
together?"
This individual wants to know WHY I
would determine that people who choose to live together are wrong in
doing so. I presumed this to be an honest question deserving of an
answer. Understand
that following a desire to know God's will as one reads the Bible they must learn to make the proper applications. Proper
applications necessitate distinguishing between what is "RIGHT" and
what is "WRONG.” The revealed inspired Word thoroughly equips the Christian
unto every good work when used for doctrine, reproof, correction and
instruction in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16-17). In the Scriptures the word FORNICATION
is properly defined as “illicit sexual intercourse.” FORNICATION as a
violation of God’s law for mankind is set forth with the penalty being eternal
punishment in hell! (Cf. Rom. 1:32, 3:23, 6:23, Heb. 13:4, Rev. 21:8). “Instruction”
in the Word plainly states that FORNICATION as described above is a work
of the flesh that leads to eternal destruction if not repented of (I Cor. 6:9;
Gal. 5:19-21).
A
Description of the Wicked This is a
good article to present to the teenager at home or elsewhere. The article is
written as a way of warning the young and others as well who are simple minded and do not see danger. The vicious
conduct of THE WICKED is well
illustrated in Judges 19 with regard to the Levite and his concubine who turned
in to Gibeah to lodge for the night. Applications
to “today” include the fact that in some cases the “victim” must understand
that a tragedy could have been avoided had they themselves not contributed by
being out late at night in a place that makes them vulnerable.
Casting Down
Eloquence & Sophistry Series (2 Cor. 10:4-5) Modern teachers, atheists, and
mockers often portray God in the Old Testament as being ruthless and unloving. A
common tactic is to present the idea that God in the Old is different from God
in the New Testament. Such seek to bypass the fact that the judgments of God
brought upon the world, as recorded in the Old Testament, were indeed left as
warnings for us today. People love the deception in being told that God today
just isn’t like that (cf.
Rom.16:17). But God
will punish the WICKED in HADES and eternally in HELL (cf. Lk.16:22-26;
Matt. 10:28).
The List
That Justifies The Ungodly Using the instruction
from Prov. 9:7-9 that says, “Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate you…” this
article deals with the ungodly who have no real concern for the whole of God’s
commandments and doing all He requires (cf. Ps. 119:160). Such will often “keep
records” (lists) of others’ sins that they have repented of. Such wicked “mark”
another’s sins in order to use them against them in an
unrighteous way! And of course their “list,” so far as
they are concerned, is reason enough for them to reject reproofs / rebukes for
their own present sins. Study
this and realize that the WICKED do
not love the one who rebukes them, neither will they go to the wise for counsel! (Prov. 15:12).
God Turns The Way Of The Wicked Upside Down This lesson considers the path of the WICKED that is a familiar
topic throughout the Psalms. You will learn about the
wicked by the following: (1) God thwarts
the way of the wicked (Ps. 146:9); (2) God puts the
wicked in great fear (Ps. 53); (3) Accusers are filled with their own ways (Ps. 109). This section tells you exactly what will happen to the WICKED;
(4) You will learn about the
purpose of their traps they set for the righteous; (5) God overthrows the best of secret counsel (Ps. 64).
How Will God
Feel About You When You Ask Him For Help? Do you know someone who is in trouble and
needs God’s help? In this brief study the scriptures are related to three important questions dealing with those times
when we need, desire, and ask for God’s help: (1) When you want God’s help how fast do you want Him
there? (2) When we need Him to deliver us how far do
we want Him from us? You are far
from God when you forsake Him when He leads you in the right path and you find
your own WICKEDNESS correcting you while you possess no fear of God! (3)
How do you want God to feel about you when you ask Him to help you?
Vindication
Based Upon One’s Righteousness, Integrity This study is
linked with a prior article and is a continuation of integrity as defined from
Psalms 119, as well as other Psalms. For the first article see the
introduction. In this study you will find such points as: (1) Pleading
for protection against the WICKED, (2) One’s hope for
deliverance, (3) Asking God for vindication, (4) Who is fit for communion with
God, (5) What preserves when in distress, (6) The “I Haves” of integrity, and
(7) David’s integrity.
Let Us
Get You A New Kind Of Preacher! Those
full of carnality accuse the faithful unjustly with WICKED INTENT,
spread strife with their mouths and set an example of evil for others to
imitate (cf. 3 John 10-11). They have a goal, an
objective, and will sacrifice the truth and brethren
to achieve it! These are looking forward to and working towards division in
order that they might have their own way, and that with the “kind of preaching”
that lacks application and pleases the ungodly (cf. 2 Tim. 4:1-5). Understand
that the longer the church postpones dealing with them scripturally the closer
they get to their unscriptural goals (cf. Rev. 2:20). There is nothing more
carnal, and full of the works of the flesh, that I can think of at this age in
my life than brethren who work to stop applicable preaching and teaching. They
will stop at nothing to get the “new kind” of preacher. Old warnings need to be
issued! As in the past there will always be bigger churches somewhere ready to
aid the pattern of apostasy and provide the “new kind” of teachers and
preachers. That is how apostasy is able to continue.
Brethren beware! It is quite possible that you know of such things happening
among us.
Selected
Newspaper Articles Dear reader the following titles are selected newspaper
articles that appeared in our local newspaper the Yuma Sun. Advertizing for
many churches tends to follow the current trend for advertizing in general and
has an emotional “pitch” to possibly interest the reader. The intent of these
articles is that each shows a love for and desire to present the Truth without
incorporating the emotional flavor so popular with other religious bodies
today. The topics are: “The Buyer Is Like The Seller; The Creditor Is Like The
Debtor” (What God’s word says about liars, cheats and murderers applies to all
– the rich and poor!); “WICKED Kids, Teens, Beating &
Stomping Others” (This exposes the lie,
“Oh they’re just too young to know better!”); “Some Wrights Are So Wrong” (When so
called “Pastors” are asked if John 14:6 is true and if they think Islam is
another way to salvation, and then suggest that there is another path to the
Father they deny what Jesus and the apostles taught! (cf. John 12:48).
Do Not Let
Your Heart Envy Sinners The
purpose of this article is to emphasize the importance of enabling others to
develop speech that correctly describes the sinner ---- and especially our
children. Applications are made for this important question: If you can’t say the WICKED are so what are
some likely problem you will have? Young adults and older see worldly “success”
through eyes that desire: (a) recognition of being in company with someone considered
important in various ways. It is easy
to JUSTIFY THE WICKED if I desire what they have — “He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination
to the LORD” (Pr. 17:15); (b) desire wealth — this is the
temptation of Prov. 1:13; ( c) desire opportunities to meet the opposite sex,
to be around money, cars, recreational vehicles etc.; (d) desire a fun time —
time not viewed by sinners as something that must have as a primary allotment
serving God and worshipping collectively with a local church.
Noah Got Drunk,
But That’s Not Me! There is a look here at Noah in failing as all righteous
men will do (Ecc 8:20). There are several points here concerning Noah. This also shows the foolishness of thinking
too lightly of one’s sin. There is scripture on drinking and drunkenness, and
application made directly to brethren who separate themselves from their
brethren in order to seek their own sinful desires ---
Pro 25:26 a righteous man who
falters BEFORE THE WICKED Is like a murky spring and a polluted well.
The
Transgender Attack This contains two newspaper articles: 1. Surely Not Shameless ~ The
Transgender Directive; 2. Surely Not Living a Lie ~ The Transgender
Directive. These present both the spiritual and physical dangers tied to
the recent “I think I identify with transgender” decree from President Obama.
This is moving quickly in our society and especially so when the media’s bias
is presenting the kind of things that promote LGBT (Lesbian, Gay
*Homosexual, Bi-sexual, Trans-sexual).
Key points
include scriptures on: evil thoughts, evil desire,
lewdness, shameless behavior, uncleanness, motives, the mind, depraved passions,
wrath of God upon the children of disobedience, walked in immoralities, lived
in immoralities, DESPISE
WICKEDNESS and IMMORALITY.
Aliens
and National Ignorance: The concerns of space aliens and extraterrestrial
activity in recent balloon intercepts, present A TOTALLY WRONG PERSPECTIVE OF
THE EARTH, LIFE HERE, AND MANKIND HAVING BEEN GIVEN THE EARTH AS A DWELLING
PLACE (Gen. 1:26; Ps. 115:16). There are no space aliens! WHAT IS WORKING
HERE TO DESTROY SOULS IS IGNORED, OR IF IT IS SATAN AND THE SPIRITUAL HOST OF WICKEDNESS IT IS A MYTH. The Devil and the SPIRITUAL HOST OF WICKEDNESS (not flesh and blood)
working here to destroy souls, is considered by most to be a myth (Ja 4:7; I
Pet. 5:8; Eph. 6:10-13).
The Correct Delight of Kings “The
appreciation of “the delight of kings” of Israel --- kept in proper
context under the Old Covenant --- is seen in their fear of God
and obedience to His commands given to Israel. The commands for them to love
truth and righteousness, and some doing so, stands in contrast to the WICKEDNESS
OF RULERS AND MAGISTRATES TODAY!”
Aids
& Additions (Expediencies Reviewed)
Most churches never speak out on the necessity of having
“scriptural authority” for what one believes and practices. In fact, most are not
willing to deal with the subject because of the lack of authority for things they are doing. It is important to know the difference between “aids” used to
carry out what is authorized versus “additions” which are things not
authorized. This
lesson should help with that distinction. Before brethren justify
something based upon expediency they must first state
the authorized work, need or thing commanded to be done. Sadly, some brethren
will reason on the basis of what they “like” or
“enjoy” and seek to incorporate it into the work and worship of the local
church. This sometimes happens when brethren
seek to justify a practice by saying it makes them
feel better. Some just flat reject what is authorized, get mad, and leave. The
truth never causes anyone to stumble, but rejecting it
will! (I Jo. 2:10). At times you will find members who will accept what is
authorized in the work and worship of the church while admitting that in their
own mind they’d be willing to do that which is not authorized — this usually
comes with the promise that they’d never cause trouble or go against the
majority. Error in the mind is still error!
Applications are made to these important
topics: (1) Instruction to Assemble; (2) The Example of a Treasury; (3)
Why the church building is authorized; (4) Social Functions: Kitchens,
Fellowship Halls & Game Rooms On Church Grounds; (5) The Assemblies of
the church in I Cor. 11, 14; (6) Eating Common Meals Acts 2:42-46; (7) The Serving of the WIDOWS, Acts 6:1-6.
A
Review of “Questions of Women’s roles…requires grace, humility” by Cana Moore
(Part One) Part One: Here is an
article concerning WOMEN’S ROLES in the church. It especially centers on
the woman is not to USURP AUTHORITY over a man in I
Tim. 2:12. Paul said: 1Ti.
2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 1Ti. 2:12
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over
the man, but to be in silence. I’ve got some things I want to say that I believe
apply to some of the contexts in the article; the article should elicit
thoughts of your own as well. You
will also find information on the HUSBAND’S HEADSHIP and accountability
beginning with the MAN Adam and his WIFE Eve in the Garden.
“All
You Really Have To Do Is Believe In God”
Jesus said, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into
the kingdom of heaven; but he that
doeth the WILL OF MY FATHER which is in heaven” (Matt. 7:21). This is a
lesson today for “the foolish” who refuse to recognize that faith without works
is useless and dead (see James 2:20-26). Above all it becomes, when we understand the expression “the WILL OF MY FATHER,” the very lesson
people need who say Jesus is Lord and then profess there are other religions
that lead to the Father that don’t believe Jesus is Lord (cp. Lk. 6:46). And
again, notice in our study what knowing
and doing “the WILL OF MY FATHER” does to the
statement often heard, i.e. all you have to do is
believe in God.
Various
Newspaper Articles Selected from 2020 This selection includes: (1) “A Win for WOMEN” concerning the argument
that sex refers to biological sex and does not include “gender identity”; (2) “Worry
About Your Soul Today!” is a simple imploration for one to pause and consider
the value of their soul and its eternal well-being after this life on earth,
and that along with needed warnings and examples – one of which is a real
person who did not do such; (3) “Afraid Of Dying? Losing All?” again implores
one to pause and consider their soul’s value in light of
the impossibility of trying to serve God and mammon (Lk. 16:13).
Be Sure to
Keep Christ at New Years! Professions of love for the “baby” Jesus at Christmas time
are often nothing more than hypocrisy. Such are often followed within a very
short period of time with drinking and revelry at New
Years. Here is a description of
how WINE MOCKS those given to it.
The
Appreciation Of Godly Sisters In Christ The tremendous value of our sisters in
Christ is set forth in this article. Beginning with the honor that is due to
faithful women in Christ, and especially WIDOWS, the study sets forth
the various duties enjoined upon them in regards to
their family and service rendered to the church that Christ built. They are to
be ready unto every good work (Eph. 2:10, I Tim. 5:10,
Titus 3:1, 2:14). Why not study the nine points of application directed towards
their being scripturally appreciated?
Don’t Thank The Sun, Thank God! Old pagan beliefs and practices surfaced during the
Christmas Holiday.
In referring to the “sun” in this title I am thinking of the WINTER SOLSTICE. One article which I read stated the sun was being thanked for its promise that light will prevail and another life-summer will eventually follow. What
man sorely needs is to read how God offers salvation through His Son, Jesus
Christ. In doing so they will see the
folly of paganism with its rank idolatrous practices,
some of which have crept back into modern society.
What
You Can And Will Do In Christ This brief study
should offer assurance to Christians that their efforts to serve God
faithfully are attainable, as well as being greatly aided by others' prayers on
their behalf. What one can and will do by remaining faithful in Christ is
declared through the words of Paul's prayer for the church at Colossae in Col.
1:9-12. Here are the key thoughts: A. Be filled with knowledge, all WISDOM and spiritual understanding. B. Walk worthy, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and
increasing in the knowledge of God. C. Strengthened for attaining all
steadfastness and patience, with Joy. D. Joyously giving thanks to the Father. Following is a "Check Your Spiritual Growth With Self-Test Questions" giving further emphasis to
our growth and development into mature children of God. The stated
"goal" of our efforts is seen in
Philippians 1:10-11.
Bible
Endings For Torn Relationships Five important
Bible relationships are presented while giving emphasis to the importance of
entreaty and reconciliation. The relationships discussed in this article
include Cain & Abel, Esau &Jacob, Saul & David, Paul & Barnabas
and Euodia & Syntyche. Stated goals for entreating are: (1) To be of the
same mind, Phil. 2:2; (2) To be at peace, I Th. 5:13; (3) To understand the
outcome of dissension. It strengthens the enemy of the gospel; the weak when
pulled in to dissensions are caused to stumble; (4) To
repent and return to the work, Rev. 3:19-20; (5) To use with older men, I Tim.
5:1; (6) To implement with GOD'S WISDOM which is easy to be entreated, Ja.
3:17-18. Thus one is to be both approachable and easily persuaded to do that which
is right.
Selected
Newspaper Articles for 2013 These newspaper articles from 2013 include: (1)
“Using ‘Christendom’ to Cover Religious Error”; (2) “The Ways of the Street
Mugger”; (3) “Murders, Murderers, Victims”; (4) “Surely not a Hot Head” – WHAT IS
LACKING IS GOD’S WISDOM and (5) “Surely not a Greedy Person.”
Is There
Prophecy Today? This is a study of prophecy in the New
Testament dispensation, and yet it issues appropriate warnings to those often
deceived by false teachers claiming not only the gift of prophecy but other
spiritual gifts as well. There is an abundance of information on all of the spiritual gifts; “prophecy”
was one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit enumerated in I Corinthians 12:8-10.
Prophecy appears here along with speaking in tongues, the word of knowledge,
and various other spiritual gifts. Notice that there were nine spiritual
gifts in
all that were given to the infant church: 1. the word
of WISDOM, 2. the
word of knowledge, 3. faith, 4. gifts of healing, 5. working of miracles, 6. prophecy,
7. discerning of spirits, 8. different kinds of tongues (languages), and 9. the interpretation of tongues.
Why
Churches Fear Applying “Scriptural Authority” ~ Selected Newspaper Articles
Concerning “Scriptural
Authority.” Local
churches of Christ must continue to be the pillar and support of the truth. These three articles relate to the fear
manifested by church leaders who use HUMAN WISDOM, emotions and lies; whose
goals are power, prestige, pleasing self and material gain. Members themselves love their false position that allows
them to fulfill their own lusts. These show how secular
institutions influenced by Political Correctness have become protectors and
enforcers for those who despise God’s Word, thus displaying a lack of respect
for “religious” freedom of speech!
Newspaper
Articles Series: “For the Greatly Exploited Generation Z” These NEWSPAPER articles
identify spiritual exploitations of the “Z” generation (2019-2020). Beginning with the truthful statement that God’s
Word will not exploit you the way political correctness does --- these present GOD’S WISDOM AND POWER that
exists far beyond MANKIND’S OWN WISDOM AND POWER. You must believe in a Creator to learn to put
your life into His perspective and purpose for mankind (Ps. 89:11; Eccl.
12:13). You may read about the various ways generations,
actually, have been deceived and thus think and act contrary to God’s
revealed Word.
The Way
of Integrity Psalms 119 This
Psalm is often avoided because of its length. This study begins with eight
points on integrity with God. Follow these application is made from each of the remaining
sections. Understand that it is on the grounds of your integrity that you may
plead to God for protective care against the wicked (Ps. 119:121-128). Because
he did not want to wander from God the scriptures would be his counselors
(lit., the men of his counsel) to establish his ways. It is
God’s word alone that can make you WISE, even WISER than your enemies,
teachers, and the aged! These are but a few of the good lesson
presented through studying this Psalm. Why not read
the article and while doing so read it along with your Bible?
God Turns The Way Of The Wicked Upside Down This lesson considers the path of the wicked
that is a familiar topic throughout the Psalms.
109). This section
tells you exactly what will happen to the wicked; (4) You will learn about the
purpose of their traps they set for the righteous; (5) God overthrows the best of secret counsel (Ps. 64). God’s
purpose is that all who see their wicked counsel overthrown fear Him, and declare it the work of God. Those who do see and fear are WISE; the one
who is WISE pays close attention to these things! (Ps. 64:9; Ps. 107:43).
Questions
on Witchcraft Answers
to questions from a respondent concerning WITCHCRAFT.
Reply
to a response on "Questions on Witchcraft" A respondent to "Questions on WITCHCRAFT" has
presented the idea that there was race upon earth who did not have Adam and Eve
for their genealogy. She claims to be of this so
called "other people." The reply shows how her claim doesn't
fit with the scriptures in the Bible.
A Case
Study of Mourning Sin: This article explains in
detail what it truly means to mourn the sins we see others commit. For example, one point
given is we mourn the sins of others when we are willing to lay aside the pride
that over rides the necessity of church discipline, I
Corinthians 5: 2,6. The steps necessary for the individual and the local church to initiate WITHDRAWAL are stated from Matthew
18:15-17, I Cor. 5, and 2 Thess. 3:14-15. Several applicable
points are presented.
Withdrawal:
Family Reunions, Vacations, Special Days etc. This article presents the local church’s collective
responsibility to WITHDRAW from a member who walks disorderly, as well as each individual Christian’s
duty to NOT
ASSOCIATE WITH any brother who leads an unruly life not
according to the instruction revealed in the New Testament scriptures. It includes such verses
as Matt. 18:15-17; I Cor. 5:11; 2 Th. 3:6, 14, 15; 2 Cor. 2:6-8 as well as
information on invites and feasts found in the New Testament.
You can compare what the Vatican says with important points
like these:

3. The works of the flesh if not repented of DEMAND WITHDRAWAL (I Cor
5:1-5, 12-13).
“Thank you
for the strong words.” The title is also a quotation from a visitor. She said, “I
want you to know it is good to hear strong words used. Back home we don’t get
that.” The thing that bothers too many brethren today, and it
sadly lacking because of that, is proper application to the brotherhood, the
local church, other local churches, and individual lives. She made some good
“application” herself – a wonderfully strong statement concerning a member who
isn’t coming. In no way did she indicate that it was otherwise and that she just
could not attend at all. She said they had a member who says she’s sick, but
sets at home and watches that “dribble” from the fake T.V. evangelists on
healing, and then when we admonish her we’re not
loving enough and too hard.” Sound familiar? The application includes appreciation for sisters in Christ.
Their knowledge and willingness to uphold sound doctrine is a great sustaining
factor in the success of every sound church (cf. Rom. 16:1-2; Phil. 1:27). They have their part as members in fulfilling
the commands in I Thes. 5:14, as well as in WITHDRAWING “collectively” (I Cor. 5:2) and not associating
with “individually” (I Cor. 5:11). And some of them take their work seriously. God bless them!
You
Were Pagans Carried Away Unto Dumb Idols (I Cor. 12:2)
Many are
simply not aware of the various “other” designations for the Gentiles – such as
“pagans,” “heathens,” “infidels” and “unbelievers.” This is especially true
when some of these refer to idolaters. The world is divided into two divisions:
Christians and the whole world that lies in the power of the evil one, Satan (I
Jo. 5:19). Notice the emphasis given to one either being “in Christ” or
“without” i.e. “outside” of Christ (Col. 4:5). The church is presented
here as it is – a HOLY NATION (I Pet. 2:9) – the SPIRITUAL ISRAEL, citizenship
is in heaven – the church made up of both Jews and Gentiles. There is no praise here
for “man” from a physical, ethnic or national background (cf. Rom. 2:28-29). If one is
not in Christ he is “WITHOUT” or “outside” (Col. 4:5).
All other “world religions” and
religious beliefs fall under the category of “human philosophy” and “empty
deception” according to the “traditions of men” (Col. 2:8). When it comes to the
total population of the world there are only two divisions: Christians and the
whole world that lies in the power of the evil one, Satan (I Jo. 5:19).

Light Beer Is Not So Light! Perhaps
you've wondered what the alcohol content is in light beer. In this brief
article you will find an answer to that important question. Dear reader do not believe every- thing
that you hear concerning light beer. And especially comments to
this effect, "What's the big deal after all it is only light beer?" Give careful consideration to the scriptural warnings about the WOES OF
THE DRUNKARD, the deceitfulness of alcohol, and its attendant state of drunkenness
and addiction.
Modern
Day Rabshakehs Rabshakeh the
spokesman for the great King of Assyria is all over the place in his blasphemy concerning who GOD is and what GOD is
doing on the earth. Read his contradictions about God as he threatens
the inhabitants of Jerusalem --- telling them not to let Hezekiah convince them
to trust in the Lord. A parallel is easy made
to those who claim to know God and have Jesus on their side -- answer the so called “WOKE SOCIAL JUSTICE
MOVEMENT” with the works of the flesh that Jesus condemned. Jesus is God and God is on to their woke! When
you put their “woke social justice” on the board and look at their walk i.e.
their lifestyle you see its great immoral failure!
“They Delight In Destroying!”;
“They Are Not Good People, Nor Children.” : These two articles connect both
adults and children to the destructive influence of WOKE philosophy, LGBTQ, and Trans

Politicians
Wanting Abortions that Murder the Unborn – and All Others Included in the Same
Deception. *POLITICAL, POLITICIANS, POLITICS This article shows just
how deceived anyone is who thinks they can advocate for or practice the murder
the unborn, and newly born. There are many applications of being DECEIVED, and SELF-DECEIVED while practicing the
works of the flesh! They are deceived in thinking they know God when they do
not know Him – the one who says he knows God and does not keep His commandments
is a liar, and the truth is not in him! The evil “WOKE”
can talk about murder and other works of the flesh as if they are good, and
acceptable, and there is no danger of Hell in practicing them!

liars, homosexuals, lesbians, the sexually immoral, and more -- these will have their part in Hell (Rev

Shame
Has Its Place A Study of
Shame. When lives spiritually are at stake to save them shame matters (!!) and has a place. THERE ARE OTHER WORDS
AS WELL AS STATEMENTS, AND PHRASES, BESIDES SHAME AND ASHAMED THAT INCLUDE
SHAME IN THEIR EXPLANATIONS. THE WOKE CAUSE THEMSELVES TO BE DISGRACED. Lesbians are real women! Rom 1:26
For this reason God gave them up to VILE
PASSIONS.
For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against
nature. > “VILE” passions (Rom 1:26) - “vile” [G819] Strong’s:
comparative indignity, (objectively) disgrace: - dishonour,
reproach, shame, vile. Homosexuals are real
men! Rom 1:27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,
burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was
due. > “indecent acts” (Rom 1:27) “indecent” [G808]
Thayer: 1b) of one’s nakedness, shame.
Understand that they cause this disgrace themselves! Compare the word “abominable”: Rev 21:8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral,
sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which
burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." > “ABOMINABLE” [G948] “to cause to be abhorred” – appears in
context with sexual immoralities. The person who works an abomination: Rev
21:27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are
written in the Lamb's Book of Life. > “ABOMINATION” [G946] “to stink, emit a foul odor.” A faithful Christian is not going to endorse what stinks!
Stand
Strong Spiritually Against Those Who Frame Wickedness by Law Don’t buy in with the
sinful Go-Along Get-Along Gang. Just keep on exposing and reproving what is

particular political party might be pushing them. See
the point on Republicans and the 15 week abortion ban. See
the note on excuses for cleaning up prostitution. See the
note on WOKE and Birthing People, along with a brief article “Curses Without
Cause” (Pr 26:2) aimed all the WOKE nonsense.
The List
That Justifies The Ungodly Using the instruction
from Prov. 9:7-9 that says, “Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate you…” this
article deals with the ungodly who have no real concern for the whole of God’s
commandments and doing all He requires (cf. Ps. 119:160). A major point includes
the Lord’s rebuke to hypocrites who “look at” the speck in another’s eye, but refuse to see the “log” that is in their own eye!
(Matt. 7). These have great concern for “specks” but have failed to cleanse
themselves from “all filthiness” of the flesh and spirit, perfecting
holiness in the fear of the Lord (2 Cor. 7:1). This teaching is combined with the warning in Matt. 7 concerning “RAVENOUS
WOLVES” — the wicked who will justify themselves while seeking to
destroy the just (Matt.
7:15).
The
Transgender Attack This contains two newspaper articles: 1.
Surely Not Shameless ~ The Transgender Directive; 2. Surely Not Living a
Lie ~ The Transgender Directive. These present both the spiritual and
physical dangers tied to the recent “I think I identify with transgender”
decree from President Obama. This is moving quickly in our society and
especially so when the media’s bias is presenting the kind of things that
promote LGBT (Lesbian,
Gay *Homosexual, Bi-sexual, Trans-sexual).
Key
points include scriptures on: evil thoughts, evil
desire, lewdness, shameless behavior, uncleanness, motives, the mind,
depraved passions, wrath of God upon the children of disobedience, walked
in immoralities, lived in immoralities, despise wickedness and immorality, to lie against the truth about the TWO SEXES (MALE and
FEMALE – MAN and WOMAN).
Selected Newspaper
Articles from 2017 These four
newspaper articles include: (1) Surely All the Men’s Fault ~ So Called “Forced
Heterosexuality.” (2) Surely Empowerment and Courage ~ Abortion. Our society has spawned its own twisted view of
WOMANHOOD, motherhood and marriage. (3) Surely the Ends of the World ~ But Don’t Quit Your Job! (4) Surely
Not the Time for Two Drinking Parties ~ Christmas & New Years.
A Consideration of I Cor. 14:34-35 WOMEN’S
CONDUCT in both learning and teaching. The role of WOMEN in the church is of such a
nature that they are to learn in quietness with all submission. They must not teach, nor usurp authority over the man,
but be in quietness (I Tim. 2:11-12).The necessity of
this role prompted the following statement to the church at Corinth: "Let
your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to
speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
[35] And if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home: for
it is a shame for women to speak in the church" (I Cor. 14:34-35).
A
Review of “Questions of Women’s roles…requires grace, humility” by Cana Moore
(Part One) Part One: Here is an article concerning WOMEN’S
ROLES in the church. It especially centers on the woman is
not to USURP AUTHORITY over a man in I Tim. 2:12. Paul said “And I do not
permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence”
(I Tim. 2:12). I’ve got some things I want to say that I believe apply to some
of the contexts in the article; the article should elicit thoughts of your own
as well.

Selected
Newspaper Articles Here are four newspaper articles presented to the
community with a love for the truth. The intent is to present God’s truths
without incorporating the emotional flavor so popular with other religious
bodies. “When You’re Promised You’ll
Like It!” exposes “pitches” for attracting visitors contrasted with what
God’s word should produce in those who hear. As one in town put it, “I hate to
admit it but going where I go I think at times I’m
looking at Ken and Barbie.” Ken and Barbie productions are made to please men
not God! (cf. Gal. 1:10). Be
aware that God’s word teaches that the fault lies with “both” the listeners and
the teachers. Digression
from the New Testament pattern includes so called WOMEN “PASTORS” along
with the non-spiritual weak men who love
to have women leading their church (I Tim. 2:11-12; I Cor. 14:34, 37-38). Read
about them!
In
The House of Public Issues Here is information on the National Cathedral in D.C.
hosting same-sex nuptials. Here is a present example of the fallacy
of human conventions making man made laws and binding them on their church.
Such displays how corrupt churches really are! This includes a brief history of
the Episcopal church and it progression into gay
marriage. The Anglican fellowship
and Church of England’s love for human tradition is also exposed as they battle
for WOMEN BISHOPS.
Selected
Newspaper Articles on Political Correctness You
might enjoy reading these newspaper articles as
they are grouped together: “Politics
Does Not Make Evil To Be Good,” “What Presidents Do When They Promote
Abortion And Gay Marriage,” “When The
Governing Powers Refuse to Listen,” and “WOMEN Bishops and Gay Marriage are both
Sinful.”
“Thank you
for the strong words.” The title is also a quotation from a visitor.
The application includes appreciation for WOMEN / SISTERS in
Christ. Their
knowledge and willingness to uphold sound doctrine is a great sustaining factor
in the success of every sound church (cf. Rom. 16:1-2; Phil. 1:27). They
have their part as members in fulfilling the commands in I Thes. 5:14, as well
as in withdrawing “collectively” (I Cor. 5:2) and not associating with
“individually” (I Cor. 5:11). And some
of them take their work seriously. God bless them!
Various
Newspaper Articles Selected from 2020 This selection includes: (1) “A Win for WOMEN” concerning the argument
that sex refers to biological sex and does not include “gender identity”; (2)
“Worry About Your Soul Today!” is a simple imploration for one to pause and
consider the value of their soul and its eternal well-being after this life on
earth, and that along with needed warnings and examples – one of which is a
real person who did not do such; (3) “Afraid Of Dying? Losing All?” again
implores one to pause and consider their soul’s value in
light of the impossibility of trying to serve God and mammon (Lk. 16:13).
The Woke Cause Themselves To
Be Disgraced. LESBIANS
ARE REAL WOMEN! Rom 1:26 For this reason God gave them up to VILE PASSIONS. For even their women exchanged the
natural use for what is against nature. > “VILE” passions (Rom 1:26) -
“vile” [G819] Strong’s: comparative indignity, (objectively) disgrace: - dishonour, reproach, shame, vile. Homosexuals are real men! Rom 1:27 Likewise also the men, leaving the
natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men
committing what is
shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their
error which was due.
A
Simple Biblical Pattern For Explaining “Why?” A
respondent who questioned the matter of judging those who live together without
marriage stated, “I think these days it can be a good thing to live together
before getting married.... This obviously goes against your feelings, but
they're just your feelings, not everyone's." Last of all she stated,
"As far as your last sentence, it's not an idea that it's acceptable and
normal, these days, IT IS acceptable and normal.... If you don't like it, then
don't do it.... I wouldn't criticize you...why do you judge about people who
choose to live together?"
This individual wants to know “Why” I would determine
that people who choose to live together are wrong in doing so. I presumed this
to be an honest question deserving of an answer. Understand that
following a desire to know God's will as one reads the Bible they must learn to make the proper applications.
Proper applications necessitate distinguishing between what is
"right" and what is "wrong." The revealed inspired WORD thoroughly equips the Christian unto every
good work when used for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in
righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16-17). In the Scriptures the word FORNICATION
is properly defined as “illicit sexual intercourse.” FORNICATION as a violation
of God’s law for mankind is set forth with the penalty being eternal punishment
in hell! (Cf. Rom. 1:32, 3:23, 6:23, Heb. 13:4, Rev. 21:8). “Instruction”
in the Word plainly states that FORNICATION as described above is a work
of the flesh that leads to eternal destruction if not repented of (I Cor. 6:9;
Gal. 5:19-21).
Is There
Prophecy Today? This
is a study of prophecy in the New Testament dispensation, and yet it issues
appropriate warnings to those often deceived by false teachers claiming not
only the gift of prophecy but other spiritual gifts as well. There is an abundance of information on all of the spiritual gifts; “prophecy” was one of
the gifts of the Holy Spirit enumerated in I Corinthians 12:8-10. Prophecy
appears here along with speaking in tongues, the WORD OF KNOWLEDGE, and various
other spiritual gifts. Notice that there were nine spiritual gifts in all that were given to the infant church: 1. the WORD OF WISDOM, 2. the WORD
OF KNOWLEDGE, 3.
faith, 4. gifts of healing, 5. working of miracles, 6. prophecy, 7. discerning of
spirits, 8. different kinds of tongues (languages), and 9. the interpretation
of tongues.
The
Foolishness In Forgetting God’s Word Trials should not cause us to forget God’s
law! We can receive strength in remembering past trials we persevered in (Cf.
Heb. 10:32-34). The one who perseveres does not shrink back! Specifically when one turns their back upon God they
will forget His WORD,
benefits, past deliverances, that man’s wrath can be over ruled by God’s anger,
that God’s victories display his righteous judgments, and one would be
forgetting the loving kindness of the Lord! Why not read this article and acquaint
yourself with what is happening when one forgets God’s law?
The
Way of Integrity Psalms 119 This Psalm is often avoided because of its
length. This study begins with eight points on integrity with God. Follow these application is made
from each of the remaining sections. Understand that it is on the grounds of
your integrity that you may plead to God for protective care against the wicked
(Ps. 119:121-128). When we
are free from the reproach of inconsistencies then His WORD is a source of joy and comfort. Because
he did not want to wander from God the
scriptures would be his counselors (lit., the men of his counsel) to
establish his ways. Through all the changes in life it is God’s WORD that remains firm. He had inherited God’s WORD as a permanent possession. It is God’s WORD alone that can
make you wise, even wiser than your enemies, teachers, and the aged! Moreover we love God’s
WORD when we accept that the sum of God’s WORD is truth!
Unlike the wicked, our love of God’s
WORD provides us with the basis with which to plead to God for help!
These are but a few of the good lesson presented
through studying this Psalm. Why not read the article
and while doing so read it along with your Bible?
About
the Label “Advertisement” On Our Articles
I’m often asked why there is a label of “advertisement” at the bottom of
the Church’s articles. They’ll often say, “No one else’s does, why yours?” The
newspaper places it there. Consider this: While the
designation is accurate, for our articles tell people about the church of
Christ, it is obvious that the content is what we are seeking to get forward
(Cf. 1 Tim. 3:15). There should be a distinct difference in what a church of
Christ presents to the community, and that of the various false religions. And
there is if the church is doing its work as it should. By refusing the often
sought “marketing approach” the Truth becomes apparent. It is the Truth that is
important in contrast to sin and religious error. Included is an exposure of
the oft used “Try Us And You’ll Like Us” pitch. …
When visitors are looking to
please “self” rather than God then you’ll often see them get up and march out.
Those who hate the Light aren’t comfortable around applicable teaching. It
isn’t that the church is not friendly. It is what Jesus said about those who
love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil (Read Jo.
3:19-21). The point is that YOU are just what
GOD’S WORD is looking for! Through instruction from
the Word the secrets of the heart are made manifest (I Cor. 14:24). Those
who go a lifetime playing “games” — thinking that they have escaped the EYES
of GOD — are greatly deceived:
Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper
than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts
and intents of the heart.
Heb 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his
sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of
him with whom we have to do.
The only kind of assembly of a local church
that is worth a dime is the kind Paul recommended to Corinth:
1Co 14:24 But if all
prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or
one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:
1Co 14:25 And thus are
the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face
he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.
Here
the visitor is convicted by all who give instruction in God’s word (I Cor.
14:24). In other words, based upon scriptural instruction and application by
the teachers, the person is actually told where their
sins are leading them — they receive a rebuke even though
just visiting. Imagine that!
“I’m
Staying with Zoom” The current pride in technology denominational
invite is “Worship online or in person here.” We must be certain that what we
do with high tech is scriptural as regards the work and worship of Christ’s
church. If “zoom” and “online” are let stray, as some among us already have,
then you will have a developed human tradition that will cause many to lose
their souls. The impact itself on the body of Christ can be like a spreading
spiritual virus in years following upon member’s zeal for assembling (Cf. Eph.
4:14; 2 Tim. 2:17; Heb. 10:24-27). You must know the difference between the
word “home” and “house” and “houses” and the words “come together as a
church” and “assembling of ourselves together” and “in the church.” read
here for proper definitions that lead to proper applications of what it means
to ASSEMBLE TOGETHER.
IS A HUMAN TRADITION BEING DEVELOPED NOW AMONG
CHURCHES?
Are brethren being led to
believe that an online presentation is “assembling”?
DO HUMAN
TRADITIONS AGAINST THE WORD PLEASE FALSE TEACHERS AND FALSE
BRETHREN?
Where do
false motive come from? Just how much in such a
developed human tradition is there a pleasing of self and others? Enough to
leave sound doctrine!
THE KIND OF SPIRIT
GOD HAS GIVEN US (2 TIM. 1:7)
2Ti 1:7 For God has NOT GIVEN US A SPIRIT OF
FEAR, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
“SPIRIT” [G4151 pneuma] – Thayer
5. “disposition, desire…”
a. NOT OF “FEAR” (timidity, NASB) [G1167 deilia,
n.] Thayer: 1) timidity, fearfulness, cowardice. From [G1169 deilos, adj.] > From δέος deos (dread);
timid, that is, (by implication) faithless: - fearful > Rev.
21:8 “cowardly” followed by “unbelieving” [G571 apistos]
1) unfaithful, faithless, (not to be trusted, perfidious).
b. “BUT OF POWER” [G1411 dunamis] Thayer:
strength, ability, power – from [G1410 dunamai] to be
able or possible: - be able, can (do, + -not), could, may, might, be possible,
be of power; Rom. 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is
the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and
also for the Greek.”
Notes: “spirit” (mind, mental or desire): “…not ...of fear” (timidity, cowardice),
“but of power” (*seen in believing and doing the Word, 2 Tim. 1:8, 2
Tim. 3:5 denied the power thus weak and unfit; Ja. 1:22 doers of the
word);
Some verses where we are told to be able and are able: Jas 1:22 doers of
the word; Lk. 6:46-48; Jo. 12:42-43; I Th. 2:2; Eph. 3:16-17; Col. 1:9-12.
c. “OF LOVE AND A SOUND MIND” – “sound” [G4995 sōphronismos] Thayer:
1) an admonishing or calling to soundness of mind, to moderation and
self-control.
Application: You can’t separate the sound mind from sound doctrine!
CAN’T
SEPARATE THE WORD FROM STRENGTH!
VERSES: Rom. 1:16-17 “the Gospel of Christ for it is the power of
God unto salvation”; Eph. 6:11 “put on the whole armor of God that you
might be able to stand”, 16 “shield of faith” (cf. Rom. 10:17 FAITH COMES BY HEARING THE WORD), 17 “THE SWORD OF
THE SPIRIT…THE WORD OF GOD”, 19 “prayer and supplication for all
saints.” Christ’s strength would have gotten all of
His churches through “lock down” whatever it took: 1) Back Yards 2) Open Spaces
3) Parking Lots etc.
“THE CHURCH IS NOT
THE BUILDING!”
Remember way back when we were
explaining that the church is not the building – that church buildings are
expedients of the command to assemble (Heb. 10:25) and the work of edifying the
body (I Cor. 14:26) – there was common way of putting it plainly back then,
“You can meet under a tree for that matter!” Let’s hear that again, “You can
meet under a tree for that matter! Yes, “You can meet under a tree for that
matter! Until it came time to! Let’s hear that again. Until it came time
to!
“All
You Really Have To Do Is Believe In God” Jesus
said, “Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven”
(Matt. 7:21). See below for points on the WORDS of Christ are the Father’s.
Points made concerning both the Father’s will and JESUS are:
1. Jesus did the will of the
father who sent Him (cf. John 6:37-38).
2. Jesus’ words are the Father’s (John
17:14, 17).
3. Jesus was seeking the Father’s glory
not His own (Jo. 7:17-18).
4. Jesus’ authority was the Father’s!
(Read John 12:48-50).
5. Jesus gave us the Father’s word which is truth
(John 17:14, 17).
6. One cannot come to Christ except by the
will of the Father (Jo. 6:37).
7. The Father’s will is that you believe
in Jesus His Son (Jo. 6:45).
8. The “work of God,” or requirement of God
is that one believes in Jesus whom He has sent (John 6:26-29).
9. The Father’s will is that eternal life
comes through belief in Christ (John 6:40).
10. Eternal life is gained by knowing His Father
and the Son whom He sent (Jo. 17:3).
11. Jesus is the only way to the Father (Jo. 14:6).
12. The doing of the Father’s will establishes one’s
relationship with Christ (Matt. 12:50).
13. Those who do believe will
not perish (Jo.3:16).
14. The belief in Christ that saves is a belief that
obeys Him, else the wrath of God abides upon one (cf. Matt. 7:21; Jo. 3:36;
Heb. 5:9).
15. The one
who doesn’t believe God has given us eternal life in His Son makes God a liar ( I John 5:10-11).
16. This
is all based in the Scriptures (John 5:39; De. 18:18-19).
17. Jesus didn’t say that they
“can’t” believe and obey but they “would not” (John 8:24).
18. His word which was the Father’s
necessitates baptism for initial obedience in order that one might be saved
(cf. Matt. 28:18-20 “all” authority for “all” nations; Mk. 16:15-16; Acts
16:31; Acts 22:16 an example of Saul obeying the Son of God).
19. Christ was “end of the Law”
(Rom. 10:4). Both Jew and Gentile are saved the same way by obeying the Gospel
(Rom. 1:16, 17, Rom. 3:29-30).
20. To believe in Christ is to
believe in the Father (cf. John 12:44-45). Of course, for that is the Father’s will! (see above)
21. To reject Christ is to reject the
Father’s word (cf. John 12:48-50, 14:24). Read the boldness of Peter and John
in the newspaper article above (Acts 4:12-13).
22. To receive Christ is to
receive the Father (cf. John 13:20). Jesus told why some do not receive Him
(cf. John
5:43-44).
23. If you don’t love Christ you don’t keep the Father’s words (cf. John 14:24).
24. If you keep the Father’s will you
will keep Christ’s commandments (cf. John 14:15, 24, 12:49).
25. To abide in Jesus’ love is to
abide in the Father’s love (cf. John 14:21, 15:9-10; I John 4:16).
26. To be in Christ is to be in the Father (cf. I
John 4:15-16).
27. Knowing the Son is knowing the Father (cf. John 14:7-10, 1:18, 10:15;
Matt. 11:27 Plain!).
28. If
you deny the Son you do not have the Father (cf. I
John 2:23). You’ve called God a liar! (I John 5:10). You will die in your sins
(John 8:24). Those who deny the Son are in the power of Satan (I John 5:19-20).
29. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father (cf. I John 2:23).
30. Does the Father’s will really
say all that one must do is believe in God in a very general way? No!
This becomes, when we understand the expression “the will of My Father,” the
very lesson people need who say Jesus is Lord and then profess there are other
religions that lead to the Father that don’t believe Jesus is Lord (cp. Lk.
6:46). And again, notice in our study what knowing and doing “the will of My
Father” does to the statement often heard, i.e. all you have
to do is believe in God.
Selected
Newspaper Articles for 2013 These newspaper articles from 2013 include: (1)
“Using ‘Christendom’ to Cover Religious Error”; (2) “The Ways of the Street
Mugger”; (3) “Murders, Murderers, Victims”; (4) “Surely not a Hot Head” – “IN THE
MULTITUDE OF WORDS THERE WANTETH NOT SIN” and (5) “Surely not a
Greedy Person.”
“Thank you
for the strong words.” The title is also a quotation from a visitor. She said, “I want you to know it is good to hear STRONG
WORDS used. Back
home we don’t get that.” The thing that bothers too many brethren today, and it sadly lacking because of that, is proper application
to the brotherhood, the local church, other local churches, and individual

Politicians
Wanting Abortions that Murder the Unborn – and All Others Included in the Same
Deception. *POLITICAL, POLITICIANS, POLITICS This article shows just
how deceived anyone is who thinks they can advocate for or practice the murder
the unborn, and newly born. There are many applications
of being DECEIVED, and SELF-DECEIVED while practicing the
works of the flesh! The warning is do not be deceived
by EMPTY WORDS of false teachers who say you can practice them!
A
Simple Biblical Pattern For Explaining “Why?” A
respondent who questioned the matter of judging those who live together without
marriage stated, “I think these days it can be a good thing to live together
before getting married.... This obviously goes against your feelings, but
they're just your feelings, not everyone's." Last of all she stated,

This individual wants to know “Why” I would determine that people
who choose to live together are wrong in doing so. I presumed this to be an
honest question deserving of an answer. Understand that following a
desire to know God's will as one reads the Bible they
must learn to make the proper applications. Proper applications necessitate distinguishing between what is "right" and what
is "wrong." The revealed inspired Word thoroughly equips the Christian UNTO
EVERY GOOD WORK when used for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction
in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16-17). In the Scriptures the
word FORNICATION is properly defined as “illicit sexual intercourse.” FORNICATION
as a violation of God’s law for mankind is set forth with the penalty being
eternal punishment in hell! (Cf. Rom. 1:32, 3:23, 6:23, Heb. 13:4, Rev. 21:8). “Instruction”
in the Word plainly states that FORNICATION as described above is a work
of the flesh that leads to eternal destruction if not repented of (I Cor. 6:9;
Gal. 5:19-21).
Memory #3 of 3 This
is the third portion of a brief series on “Memory” (April, May and June 2016).
This article’s emphasis is on not using memory to prevent spiritual danger and
destruction, letting greed overpower remembering God’s presence in times past,
using memory to correct one’s life, and the
necessity of being reminded to be ready for every GOOD WORK. God’s people are to
maintain GOOD WORKS for necessary uses (to meet urgent needs), that they be not
unfruitful (Titus 3:14). When you
“forget” you neglect brethren in dire circumstances and no longer care for them
spiritually in prayer, or materially. Thus we are
admonished “to DO GOOD, and to COMMUNICATE (SHARING) forget not” (Heb. 13:16).
When brethren are SHARING things are good for all who are worthy, and there’s
no reason for any
member to be overly anxious about
material things.
What You
Can And Will Do In Christ This brief study should
offer assurance to Christians that their efforts to serve God faithfully
are attainable, as well as being greatly aided by others' prayers on their
behalf. What one can and will do by remaining faithful in Christ is declared
through the words of Paul's prayer for the church at Colossae in Col. 1:9-12.
Here are the key thoughts: A. Be filled with knowledge, all wisdom and
spiritual understanding. B. Walk worthy, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in
every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. C. Strengthened for
attaining all stedfastness and patience, with Joy. D.
Joyously giving thanks to the Father. Following is a "Check Your Spiritual Growth With Self-Test Questions" giving further emphasis to
our growth in knowledge and ability to discern both good and evil. To do this the Christian must get past carnality and the WORKS OF THE FLESH that
make us dull of hearing, and spiteful (envy, strife, divisions) of one another (I Cor. 3:1-3). The stated
"goal" of our efforts is seen in Philippians 1:10-11.
What To Tell Your
Mate When They Are Guilty of Wrath Christians need to study and then be honest and
make the right applications to one another, all family members, and especially
with their own mates (Cf. I Th. 5:14). These must be told that one WORK OF THE FLESH has lead them to commit other sinful deeds!
Let
Us Get You A New Kind Of Preacher! Those
full of carnality (WORKS OF THE FLESH) accuse the faithful
unjustly with wicked intent, spread strife with their mouths, and set an
example of evil for others to imitate (cf.
Rev. 2:20). There is
nothing more carnal, and full of the WORKS OF THE FLESH, that I can
think of at this age in my life than brethren who work to stop applicable
preaching and teaching. They will stop at nothing to get the
“new kind” of preacher. Old warnings need to be issued! As in
the past there will always be bigger churches somewhere ready to aid the
pattern of apostasy and provide the “new kind” of teachers and preachers. That is how apostasy is able to continue. Brethren beware! It is quite possible
that you know of such things happening among us.
Surely
Fair is Unacceptable ~ “All” Works of the Flesh are Sinful! One aspect of “religious freedom of speech”
is the right to name specific immoralities (WORKS OF THE FLESH) as well as oppose the teachings of other
religions (cf. Matt. 15:12-14). Much is said today in defense of practicing
homosexuality as if none have the right to say
religiously that it is sinful conduct. However, true Christians believe and
teach that “all” works of the flesh identified in the New Testament are sinful
and that includes practicing homosexuality (Cf. Rom. 1:24-32; I Cor. 6:9-10;
Gal. 5:19-21).
Modern Day Rabshakehs Rabshakeh the spokesman for the great King of Assyria is all over the place in his blasphemy concerning who God is and what God is doing on the earth. Read his contradictions about God as he threatens the inhabitants of Jerusalem --- telling them not to let Hezekiah convince them to trust in the Lord. A parallel is easy made to those who claim to know God and have Jesus on their side -- answer the so called “woke social justice movement” with THE WORKS OF THE FLESH that Jesus condemned. Jesus is God and God is on to their woke! When you put their “woke social justice” on the board and look at their walk i.e. their lifestyle you see its great immoral failure!
Politicians
Wanting Abortions that Murder the Unborn – and All Others Included in the Same
Deception. *POLITICAL, POLITICIANS, POLITICS This article shows just
how deceived anyone is who thinks they can advocate for or practice the murder
the unborn, and newly born. There are many applications
of being deceived, and SELF-DECEIVED while practicing the WORKS OF
THE FLESH!
What are the Works
of the Flesh? The WORKS OF
THE FLESH in
the New Testament scriptures are part of God’s moral analysis to be taught and
applied.
The Vatican recently issued a new document stating when people ask their
priests for a blessing “an exhaustive moral analysis should not be placed as a
precondition for conferring it” – this is mentioned later with comments in this
article. The works of the flesh are sin (I Jo
3:4). We’re told they are what keeps one from Heaven,
and sends one to Hell – thus, the truth about them must not be
rejected. The works of the flesh can be divisive being sound doctrine (I
Cor 11:19). God’s word applied correctly will divide the faithful from the
unfaithful. False churches push Woke philosophies and LGBT+ based on
out right acceptance (!!) of the works of the flesh.
You can compare what the Vatican says with important points
like these:
1. The works of the flesh are part of the “Not Do”
legislation in the authority of Christ revealed in his new
testament (Matt 28:18-20).
2. The warning is do not be deceived, for those practicing
the works of the flesh will not inherit the kingdom of God (Gal 5:19-21; I Cor
5:9-13; I Cor 6:9-11; Ja 1:13-16).
3. The works of the flesh if not repented of demand
withdrawal (I Cor 5:1-5, 12-13).
4. Abortion is found in the works of flesh listed as “commit
murder”, “murderers.”
5. Woke and Trans is repeatedly condemned in the works of the
flesh listing liars, homosexuals, lesbians, the sexually immoral, and more -- these will
have their part in Hell (Rev 21:8).
6. The works of the flesh are sins to be repented of at
baptism (Acts 2:38).
7. Baptism is certainly not for the remission of sins (Acts
2:38) when one is lying out their teeth saying they are sex they aren’t!
8. The scriptures settle the matter of what to tell same-sex
couples – faithful churches tell them they are living in sin (Col 3:5-7).
9. If you want to benefit one who asks about their
relationship with Christ tell them the Truth!
10. Practicing the works of the flesh destroys or does not
allow fellowship with God – one must walk in the light (I Jo 1:6-7).
11. The works of the flesh are God’s classification of others
and NOT too authoritarian! It includes the sinful conduct of homosexuals,
lesbians, drunks, fornicators, adulterers, et.al.
12. The works of the flesh when practiced DO NOT GO, AND CANNOT GO with commitment to Christ!
13. Identifying the works of the flesh is the love of Truth, and leads one to repentance and obedience (I Jo
5:1-3).
14. The works of the flesh are God’s NO (!!) to blessing
same-sex unions.
“All
You Really Have To Do Is Believe In God”
Jesus said, “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord,
Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my
Father which is in heaven” (Matt. 7:21). This is a lesson today for “the foolish” who refuse to
recognize that FAITH WITHOUT WORKS is useless and dead (See James
2:20-26). Above all it becomes,
when we understand the expression “the will of My Father,” the very lesson people need who say Jesus is Lord and
then profess there are other religions that lead to the Father that don’t
believe Jesus is Lord (cp. Lk. 6:46). And again, notice in our study what knowing and doing
“the will of My Father” does to the statement often heard, i.e. all you have to do is believe in God.

Stand
Strong Spiritually Against Those Who Frame Wickedness by Law Don’t buy in
with the sinful Go-Along Get-Along Gang. Just keep on exposing and reproving
what is sinful. The New Testament, the will of Christ, will do that right well.
Christians don’t endorse man’s “legislations” – Ps 94:20 Can a throne
of destruction be allied with You, one who devises mischief by decree? >
“DECREE” H2706 a STATUTE, LAW -- just because a particular political party
might be pushing them. See the point on Republicans and the 15 WEEK abortion
ban. See the point on calling fornication, fornicators, whores, whoremongers,
adultery and adulterers what they are in red light districts and on the streets
of our cities! See the point on WOMEN who are cowards and can’t even
define what a woman is while being one and having given birth!
Speak
Evil of No Man – But I Can Say… We find the admonition to
“speak evil of no man” in Titus 3:2. To speak evil means to vilify, defame, or
blaspheme. Most don’t know how to read the Bible. In the same verse we are not to be a brawler. If I call a brawler what he is, i.e., a
brawler do I violate “speak evil of no man”? People pay no attention to what
Jesus said and where he said it. Furthermore, they pay no attention to what
hypocrites said to Him and when they said it. Finally, most pay no attention to what Jesus said
and who He said it to! When it comes to social, cultural, and political activities, Christians
deal with the immoralities as He did. The UNFRUITFUL WORKS OF
DARKNESS are to be reproved (Eph 5:11-13).
I’ll use Herod Antipas as the first example. Was he the fox Jesus said he was?
You
Were Pagans Carried Away Unto Dumb Idols (I Cor. 12:2)
Many are simply not aware of the various “other” designations for the
Gentiles – such as “pagans,” “heathens,” “infidels” and “unbelievers.” This is
especially true when some of these refer to idolaters. The world is divided
into two divisions: Christians and the whole world that lies in the power of
the evil one, Satan (I Jo. 5:19). Notice the emphasis given to one either being
“in Christ” or “without” i.e. “outside” of Christ (Col. 4:5). The
church is presented here as it is – a HOLY NATION (I Pet. 2:9) – the SPIRITUAL
ISRAEL, citizenship is in heaven – the church made up of both Jews and
Gentiles. There
is no praise here for “man” from a physical, ethnic or national background (cf.
Rom. 2:28-29). If one is not in Christ he is “WITHOUT” or “OUTSIDE” (Col.
4:5). Thus Jesus is the DOOR (Jo. 10:9). You enter
that “door” by baptism into Christ (Mk. 16:15-16; Acts
2:38; Gal. 3:26-27). People often weigh what they think the benefits will be
for them if they do not obey in baptism against what it will cost them materially
if they do. What happens to “unbelievers” in Rev. 21:8? If one has not been
baptized into Christ they belong with all
“unbelievers” and it makes no difference if one says they believe in God,
Christ, the Bible, Creation etc. The vast majority of the WORLD
POPULATION i.e.
some 7B+ are “unbelievers.” All
other WORLD RELIGIONS and religious beliefs fall under the
category of “human philosophy” and “empty deception” according to the
“traditions of men” (Col. 2:8).
God,
man, the world; Satan, man and the course of this world (PART ONE OF TWO) Emphasis is upon GOD the creator of the earth, man, the universe and
all material things --- by using various definitions of “WORLD” OR “AGE” Satan, the Devil, is
presented as “the god
of this world” who blinds the
minds of the unbelieving. The Devil rules the thoughts and deeds
of the men of our own age. Get the Devil in your conversations!
The wise according to human wisdom and
philosophy, the scribe i.e. professional who writes and speaks to the detriment
of God’s word and wisdom, as well as the debater i.e. learned disputant --- these offer elaborate and devious arguments in this “age” we
live in as they serve the Devil. Their message is full of deceit and error and
hostile to God and His Word.
God,
man, the world; Satan, man and the course of this world (Part Two) Here in PART TWO there is continued focus upon the work of the Devil with emphasis upon
Christ, the church and the Devil’s work. Things done to resist the Devil are
stated along with examples of Satan’s influences in the church. What will
happen to the Devil and those who follow him points to the necessity of one
obeying in baptism to be saved (Mk. 16:15-16).

how deceived anyone is who thinks they can advocate for or practice the murder
the unborn, and newly born. There are many applications

LOVE THE WORLD AND LOVE GOD! For when one sows to the flesh
they reap corruption, not eternal life.
Abominations
are not Funny! (A serious look at Worship offered to God.) Have you seen
these frivolous church advertisements that mention "hypocrites" with
somewhat of an amusing tone? They will even state that they only have a few so
feel free to come and worship with them. In contrast the Bible teaches the WORSHIP a hypocrite offers is an abomination
to God. But such hypocrites actually
think, "God is glad to see me here!" And
have you ever thought of how "others" such as the preacher and
members themselves might contribute to this polluting of worship? Also, what
condition is a church in that tolerates even one hypocrite as a member?
Things
Often Missing During Afflictions The applications in
this brief study will deal with those who are in affliction. Dear reader, you
will notice that with some of these God has no pleasure. Some have
no regard for WORSHIP i.e. they lose interest in serving God on His terms (Heb.
10:24-25). For others, they see God’s faithfulness during their
afflictions.
Why not read this either for yourself or with a view to being able to help
another?
Vindication
Based Upon One’s Righteousness, Integrity This study is linked with a prior
article and is a continuation of integrity as defined from Psalms 119, as well
as other Psalms. For the first article see the introduction. In this study you
will find such points as: (1) Pleading for protection against the wicked, (2)
One’s hope for deliverance, (3) Asking God for vindication, (4) Who
is fit for communion (WORSHIP) with God, (5) What preserves when
in distress, (6) The “I Haves” of integrity, and (7) David’s integrity.
Selected
Newspaper Articles These are selected articles that appeared in
our local newspaper, The Sun. The intent of these articles is that each shows a
love for and desire to present the Truth without incorporating the emotional
flavor so popular with other religious bodies today. Included is “COMING
TO WORSHIP ~ A
SPECTATOR SPORT!” Because laughter is one of the easiest responses to induce it
is being used for deception. Laughter keeps one’s emotions foremost rather
than reason; it shuts out thoughts of fearing God, eternity, human frailty,
either reward or punishing following one’s death. The
sinner is made to feel good when they should feel bad! Moreover, religious
counterfeits have seduced the simple minded into accepting the social as the spiritual and worship.
Selected
Newspaper Articles for “The Sun,” Yuma, AZ. These four articles appeared in
our local newspaper: (1)
“We’re Just A Bunch Of Kids Here!” ~ Much is lacking in WORSHIP today. This article presents the frivolous attitude manifested by both adults and young adults
that fails to fulfill the Biblical duty of warning young people to “trust in
the Lord; lean not unto thine own understanding” (Cf. Prov. 3:5-6; 22:15; 19:18); (2) “Scriptural Warnings
For Grad Night”; (3) “Much Is Lacking In The Sinner’s Prayer”; (4) “Tell Me I’m
A Great Guy!” ~ This brief article deals with winter visitors and the
disgusting way in which churches vie with other churches for both numerical and
financial advantage.
Selected
Newspaper Articles Here are four
newspaper articles presented to the community with a love for the truth. The
intent is to present God’s truths without
incorporating the emotional flavor so popular with other religious bodies: (4) “Justifying Self By Saying Church
Responsibility Is Not Necessary” --- answers four popular self justifications offered for not studying and seeking to WORSHIP in
a scriptural church.
The
Worship of the Church. This is Lesson Five in our Series: "Fundamental Lessons on the
Church." Lesson Five: "The Worship of the Church." In this lesson you will be studying the items of WORSHIP for the church:
1. The Lord's Supper upon the first day of the week.
2. Instruction in God's word.
3. Singing.
4. Prayer.
5. Giving.
By studying these items of worship you can learn what "edification"
means and how it was practiced in the assemblies of the first century church.
Scriptures
Governing Our Collective Worship You may never have heard about "Spontaneous Singing" as practiced in some churches. It
could be that you've have observed one singing so
loudly they drowned out the song leader and wondered if there were scriptures
that might be used to correct such. Perhaps you would be interested in the scriptures that
authorize a song leader and a church doing things
decently and in order DURING WORSHIP. If so, then you'd be interested in this brief study.
Such As The
Father Seeks To Worship Him The following article was written with a view
to a better understanding of acceptable WORSHIP, and imploring “all” who are members to help
out and join together in a concerted effort to repel the present attack upon worship today. Read
the article and then, if you are a Christian, step forward, speak up, give
counsel and do not put the sole burden of having to deal with unseemly conduct
during worship solely upon those who stand before all and lead!
“When
the Lord opens the door…” This article relates two separate incidents with regard to those
who think instruments of music are acceptable in church WORSHIP. Both serve, I believe, as a reminder
of how apostasy works and presents itself in order to perpetuate
its working of error. The second incident illustrates how apostasy never stands
still. You should know this and be able to see this. The next generation goes
yet further progressing in error. Some
churches calling themselves churches of Christ being in apostasy have now added
the instrument of music!
Concern
for the Songs We Sing We sing particular songs
in WORSHIP because we are concerned about doing all things scripturally – for
edification, teaching and admonition. Read this to understand
why there was no use of instruments of music in the WORSHIP of the churches in
the first century churches of Christ.
The Quran On Jesus (Series)
Jesus received WORSHIP because He is God. You will often hear that Islam honors all prophets,
including Jesus. Just what “kind” of honor does Islam give to the Lord Jesus
Christ? It is certainly not that they believe in His deity because they do not.
The truth is Islam repeatedly denies that Jesus is God.
Islam also denies the basic tenants of the New Testament teaching about Jesus
and salvation. How do you supposedly honor Him when the honor you give to Him
is the dishonor of saying He was not who He said He was? Why not follow this
series and see the many truths that Islam denies about Jesus that the New
Testament teaches and Christians believe?
Covid
Restrictions ~ Just Safety or Persecution Included WORSHIP - The CORONA
VIRUS ~ COVID19 RESTRICTIONS - Just what kind of “push” did you
expect from the ungodly and unbelieving to make? Get the preachers out of the
way – make them turn from the rightful order of things – let’s not hear about
God and His law.
“I’m
Staying with Zoom” The current pride
in technology denominational invite is “WORSHIP ONLINE OR IN PERSON HERE.” We must be certain that what we do with
high tech is scriptural as regards the work and WORSHIP of Christ’s church. If “zoom” and “online” are let stray, as
some among us already have, then you will have a developed human tradition that
will cause many to lose their souls. The impact itself on the body of
Christ can be like a spreading spiritual virus in years following upon member’s
zeal for assembling (Cf. Eph. 4:14; 2 Tim. 2:17; Heb. 10:24-27). You must
know the difference between the word “home” and “house” and “houses” and the words “come together as a church” and
“ASSEMBLING OF OURSELVES TOGETHER” and “in the church” Read here for proper definitions that lead
to proper applications of what it means to ASSEMBLE TOGETHER.
What You
Can And Will Do In Christ: This brief study should
offer assurance to Christians that their efforts to serve God faithfully
are attainable, as well as being greatly aided by others' prayers on their
behalf. What one can and will do by remaining faithful in Christ is declared
through the words of Paul's prayer for the church at Colossae in Col. 1:9-12.
Here are the key thoughts: A. Be filled with knowledge, all wisdom and

fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in
the knowledge of God. C. Strengthened for
attaining all steadfastness and patience, with Joy. D. Joyously giving thanks
to the Father. Following is a "Check Your
Spiritual Growth With Self-Test Questions" giving
further emphasis to our growth and development into mature children of God. The
stated "goal" of our efforts is seen in Philippians 1:10-11.
Do Not Let
Your Heart Envy Sinners: The purpose of this article is to emphasize the importance of enabling
others to develop speech that correctly describes the sinner ---- and
especially our children. Applications are made for this important question: If
you can’t say the wicked are so what are some likely problem
you will have? Young
adults and older see worldly “success” through eyes that desire: (a)
recognition of being in company with someone considered important in various
ways. It is easy to justify the wicked if I desire what they have --- “He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth
the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord” (Pr. 17:15); (b)
desire wealth — this is the temptation of Prov. 1:13; ( c) desire opportunities
to meet the opposite sex, to be around money, cars, recreational vehicles etc.;
(d) desire a fun time — time not viewed by sinners as something that
must have as a primary allotment serving God and WORSHIPPING collectively
with a local church.
Things in
Christ not found in Islam: One
simple but effective way of explaining the difference between a major “world”
religion and the gospel of Christ (the New Testament, Matt. 26:28) is to show
the things found “in Christ” that are not found elsewhere. It is
through Christ that one is saved from “the WRATH to come” (Rom. 5:9: I Th. 1:10; 2 Th. 1:7-9).
"What
went you out…to see?" This is a
lesson on dress. What it means to present one's self as a living sacrifice,
acceptable to God, holy, …and not be conformed to this world
(Rom. 12:1-2) is viewed in the light of proper dress and conduct. The
kind of conduct that shows respect for oneself,
for others, and manifests one's self control (I Tim. 2:8-9). Paul
commanded the men to pray "without WRATH and doubting." We are to be free of murmuring and disputing (See Phil.
2:14).
What To Tell Your
Mate When They Are Guilty of Wrath:
Christians need to study and then be honest and make the right
applications to one another, all family members, and especially with their own
mates (Cf. I Th. 5:14). Read this article to understand the things
one should tell a mate concerning their WRATH.
The
Foolishness In Forgetting God’s Word Trials should not cause us to FORGET God’s law! We can receive strength in remembering past
trials we persevered in (Cf. Heb. 10:32-34). The one who perseveres does not
shrink back! Why not read this article and acquaint yourself with what is
happening when one forgets God’s law?
God Turns The Way Of The Wicked Upside Down: This lesson considers the path of the
wicked that is a familiar topic throughout the Psalms. You will learn about the
wicked by the following: (1) God thwarts the way of the wicked (Ps. 146:9); (2) God puts the wicked in great fear
because He despises them! God’s WRATH is seen in His
promises to disobedient Israel: God promised them if they did not obey
all His commandments then He would in turn, for their not obeying, plague them
with sudden terror. If then, they continue to act with hostility against Him He would bring on
them seven times more plagues! After that if they did not obey
He promised He would walk contrary to them and punish them yet seven times! And
then if they continued in rebellion He said He would
be contrary to them with fury and give them seven times more for their sins!
(read Lev. 26:14-33). God doesn’t quit! (Ps. 53; Lev. 26:14-33); (3) Accusers
are filled with their own ways (Ps. 109). This section tells you exactly what
will happen to the wicked; (4) You will learn about the purpose of their traps
they set for the righteous; (5) God overthrows the best of secret counsel (Ps.
64).
Selected
Newspaper Articles for 2013 These newspaper articles from 2013 include: (1)
“Using ‘Christendom’ to Cover Religious Error”; (2) “The Ways of the Street
Mugger”; (3) “Murders, Murderers, Victims”; (4) “Surely not a Hot Head” – includes OUTBURSTS OF WRATH, the WRATH OF MAN,
being SLOW TO WRATH and (5) “Surely not a Greedy Person.”
The
Transgender Attack This
contains two newspaper articles: 1. Surely Not Shameless ~ The Transgender
Directive; 2. Surely Not Living a Lie ~ The Transgender Directive. These
present both the spiritual and physical dangers tied to the recent “I think I
identify with transgender” decree from President Obama. This is moving quickly
in our society and especially so when the media’s bias is presenting the kind
of things that promote LGBT
(Lesbian, Gay *Homosexual, Bi-sexual, Trans-sexual).
Key points include scriptures on: evil thoughts, evil desire, lewdness, shameless
behavior, uncleanness, motives, the mind, depraved passions, WRATH of God upon the children of disobedience, walked in immoralities,
lived in immoralities, despise wickedness and immorality.
Aliens
and National Ignorance: The concerns of space aliens and extraterrestrial
activity in recent balloon intercepts, present A TOTALLY WRONG PERSPECTIVE OF
THE EARTH, LIFE HERE, AND MANKIND HAVING BEEN GIVEN THE EARTH AS A DWELLING
PLACE (Gen. 1:26; Ps. 115:16). There are no space aliens! The Devil and the spiritual host of wickedness (not flesh and blood) working here to destroy souls, is considered by
most to be a myth (Ja 4:7; I Pet. 5:8; Eph. 6:10-13).
JESUS DELIVERS FROM GOD’S WRATH COMING UPON THE SONS OF
DISOBEDIENCE
(EPH. 5:6; I TH 1:10, 5:9).
•Eph 5:6 refers to 5:3-5 which lists the very filth promoted
by CRT, LGBTQ, Trans Identification, etc.
•On Pentecost, Peter answered their question on what to do to
be saved, and he commanded those who heard the gospel to repent and be baptized
for the remission of their sins (Acts 2:37-41).
•Paul spoke to the supposed wise men in Athens at the
Areopagus (Acts 17:22-33). Act 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God
overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,
Act 17:31 because He has appointed a day on which He will
judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given
assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead."

A
Simple Biblical Pattern For Explaining “Why?” A
respondent who questioned the matter of judging those who live together without
marriage stated, “I think these days it can be a good thing to live together
before getting married....
This individual wants to know “Why” I would determine that people
who choose to live together are wrong in doing so. I presumed this to be an
honest question deserving of an answer. Understand that following a
desire to know God's will as one reads the Bible they
must learn to make the proper applications. Proper applications necessitate distinguishing between what is
"RIGHT" and what is "WRONG.” The revealed inspired Word thoroughly
equips the Christian unto every good work when used for doctrine, reproof,
correction and instruction in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16-17). In
the Scriptures the word FORNICATION is properly defined as “illicit
sexual intercourse.” FORNICATION as a violation of God’s law for mankind
is set forth with the penalty being eternal punishment in hell! (Cf. Rom. 1:32,
3:23, 6:23, Heb. 13:4, Rev. 21:8). “Instruction” in the Word
plainly states that FORNICATION as described above is a work of the
flesh that leads to eternal destruction if not repented of (I Cor. 6:9; Gal.
5:19-21).
Excuses
~ Oldies Are Still the Goodies! There’s nothing so entertaining to some as tuning in to the “Oldies”
program on their available radio network. Some of those hits you just don’t get
tired of hearing, and there are some excuses
for evading scriptural authority that you are always hearing from those who
never tire of using them. Here are
several oldies that are still goodies for those disrespecting scriptural
authority: I. We are all part of the body of Christ; II. The eye
cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; III. Jesus said, I am the vine
and ye are the branches; IV. God loves sinners too; V.
We’ve all been left under human tradition; VI. Only God can judge another; VII. I’d
never tell you that you are in the WRONG CHURCH; VIII. Never place a period where God
has placed a comma.
